Buyer personas mapped
Furniture Packages USA provides turnkey furniture procurement for property investors, real estate developers, and vacation rental managers across Florida. High-touch B2B sales was buried inside generic website flows — investors and property managers could not find clear paths to quote.
The problem
Three friction points blocked growth:
- Wrong navigation model — product-category IA when buyers self-segment by role (investor vs. property manager vs. developer).
- Opaque quote process — high-intent visitors hit dead ends instead of structured procurement workflows.
- Legacy SEO debt — a broken prior site with crawl errors, weak local visibility, and no content authority for high-value procurement keywords.
My role
I led site architecture, buyer journey design, and the ongoing SEO program from 2024 through 2026 — including a full rebuild with redirect-safe migration.
What I built
Role-aware procurement experience
Instead of forcing every buyer through the same funnel, I restructured navigation around buyer type:
- Dedicated pathways for investors, property managers, and developers.
- Structured quote workflows with clearer handoff to sales — less back-and-forth on scope.
- Catalog segmentation aligned to how Florida real estate operators actually buy furnishings at scale.
Search growth as an engineering deliverable
SEO was not a monthly report — it was shipped work:
- Full redirect mapping and crawl error remediation during migration.
- Interlinked content clusters targeting terms like bulk furniture packages and vacation rental furnishing.
- Google Business Profile optimization, location landing pages, and local citations for Florida real estate procurement.
- Analytics instrumentation on high-intent pages and drop-off zones so we could iterate on quote paths.
Technical foundation
- Next.js routing for complex buyer-type journeys.
- PostgreSQL-backed quoting logic for more precise response workflows.
- Reporting framework exposing which pages drive qualified actions.
Outcomes
| Metric | Result |
|---|---|
| Organic traffic | +210% over six months |
| Inbound quote requests | Nearly doubled (~95% lift) |
| Session depth | Average session duration up 3+ minutes |
| Buyer engagement | Stronger activity on persona-specific pathways |
The team reported that the new procurement flow removed constant back-and-forth and accelerated quote velocity — the operational signal that matters more than raw traffic.
What this demonstrates
- Restructuring B2B IA around buyer personas instead of product taxonomy.
- Migration discipline that preserves equity while fixing crawl and URL debt.
- Connecting SEO execution to measurable pipeline actions, not vanity rankings.
“The new procurement flow removed constant back-and-forth and accelerated quote velocity.”
